About Us

Glennwood Housing Foundation, was founded in February 2009 as a 501 (c)3 non-profit corporation advocating for inclusive community opportunities and non-profit housing and support services for persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities. In 2013 Glennwood Housing Foundation opened Glennwood House, Laguna Beach, to provide non-profit housing and supported living services to 50 adults with developmental and/ or intellectual disabilities. The residents at Glennwood House have unsurpassed opportunities for social growth, emotional fulfillment, self-awareness, enhanced dignity and quality of life through supported independence.

In 2020 Glennwood Housing Foundation, DBA: Glennwood Support Services, became an approved vendor for Regional Center of Orange County to provide supported living services throughout the county.

Through the transition to adulthood, Glennwood Housing Foundation is committed to removing the barriers to social growth, emotional fulfillment, self-awareness, enhanced dignity and quality of life for persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

To address the issue, Glennwood Housing Foundation, along with our community partners, is working to not only advocate for equity, but to develop a framework for pathways to independent living through access to parent education and resources in preparing their children for an optimal future. These pathways will be achieved by bringing together key clinical findings along with Glennwood Housing Foundation’s best-practice analysis.
